Angels of Strength was founded by two girls named Abby (age 22) and Ali (age 16). They both know themselves what it's like to be sick. Abby has Digestive Tract Paralysis, Mast Cell Activation Disorder, and Endometriosis. Ali has Intestinal Failure and is awaiting a possible intestinal transplant. Our mission is to bring joy, hope, and newfound strength to all kids and teens fighting serious chronic illness across the United States. There are a lot of charity organizations out there these days, but having first hand experience with these struggles helps us give a personal perspective. We want everyone struggling to know that they are not alone! We will be in their corner, rooting for them to stay strong through every battle, both little and big. As a start, we send each child an Angels of Strength warrior bag containing items personalized to each person such as toys, arts and craft projects, comfort items, beauty products, games, and more. Angels of Hope also gives back to local hospitals in the North Carolina and New York areas. No child should fight alone!!
